The repository collection currently comprises more than 7 kilometers of core. We will soon have a searchable version of our core database on our website, as well as a full set of downloadable expedition reports, core images, and data. Until then, you may view a basic display of collection information. For additional information about the cores, submitting sample requests, or to retrieve core photographs or data, contact the Curator.

Sample Requests

To submit a sample request, please download and fill out both Part 1 and Part 2 of the LacCore Sample Request Form. Full instructions are available on these forms. When complete, email them to the Curator. Requestors should be familiar with applicable LacCore Policies. Contact the Curator directly with any additional questions about the process.
