Any item or items that need shipping, whether samples, cores, or supplies, are carefully packaged by lab technicians and sent via FedEx. Due to high levels of shipments, LacCore receives a large discount through FedEx of roughly 50%. Customers are only charged for packing supplies, packaging time, and direct FedEx costs. These costs are all rolled in to one charge for "shipping" on any invoice slips.
When shipping large items (e.g., cores, d-tubes, field equipment) and with enough advance notice, LacCore, through the FreightQuote website, compares dozens of carriers for the best value for our customers.
